How to find the right accommodation

FIND YOUR PERFECT ACCOMMODATION HERE

  1. Using the search bar at the top of the page, type the name of the resort you are interested in (as you type a drop down list will appear so you can choose your resort) or click on Or choose from our list
  2. If your chosen resort doesn’t appear it’s because we operate in a few select resorts that we know and love to ensure we can provide the best service.
  3. Enter the arrival date you are looking for. We predominately sell 7 night ski holidays Saturday-Saturday or Sunday-Sunday. When selecting a start date using the search bar, it will automatically set the departure date as 7 days later. Please be aware that airport transfers on mid-week days are very expensive and could easily make the cost of your ski holiday prohibitive. Should you be looking for a shorter ski break, please contact us.
  4. Choose the board basis (see below) to match your requirements or choose Any for a wider search. 
  5. Choose the property star rating you prefer or choose Any rating for a wider search. 
  6. Then click Search
  7. Scroll the list of accommodation that’s available. For each property you will see the following:

Top Pick

We have rigorously evaluated each property and chosen the ones best suited to the perfect ski holiday as our Top Picks. They are ski-in-ski-out or very close to the slopes, close to the resort centre, have the best range of facilities and highest scoring reviews. We have also visited the properties and have close relations with the owners or managers to ensure any issues you might have can be resolved quickly.


Modify Search

Click Modify Search in the top right hand corner if you want to change dates or resort.

The Next Steps to Book your Dream Ski Holiday

  • When you see a property you’re interested in, click SEE DETAILS. You’ll see the photo gallery and a summary of the booking (total price, price per night, dates, number of rooms, number of nights, price includes (number of people), room basis and short description of the room). 
  • Here you can click View More Rate Information to view the cancellation and refund policy (see below) and the deposit amount due is below. 
  • You can then click Book Your Room or scroll down for more information.
  • You will find the Overview (description of the accommodation, facilities etc) and Room (details about the room and options). 
  • There is also a location map on the right. You can double click on this to zoom in.
  • To book, scroll back up to the Book Your Room button on the right hand side. 
  • If you want to go back to your original search, scroll up further and click Back in the top right hand corner.
  • Once you have selected your accommodation and room choice, click Book Your Room and a final availability search will happen behind the scenes to ensure the property is available on your chosen dates before taking you to the booking page.

  2. This page shows the Booking Summary, the Standard Deposit due and the option to pay the Full Amount.
  3. Passengers - enter your details here.
  4. Manage your booking -  enter your email address, click the box to receive our newsletters, enter your phone number and any Special Requests.
  5. Click Booking Terms highlighted at the end of By selecting to complete this booking I acknowledge that I have read and accept the Booking Terms and read through our Booking Terms and Conditions.
  6. Finally click Go To Basket.
  7. This will take you to the payment page with details of the Accommodation at the top and a Booking Summary on the left.
  8. In the Accommodation block you will see the tabs Room Details, Hotel Details and Important Information-Please Read. This is a reminder of any additional fees to pay on arrival (usually Taxe de Sejour-Tourist Tax) and the Cancellation policy (see Refundable/Non-Refundable below).
  9. Enter your payment details, your payment will be processed and you will receive your Booking Confirmation by email.
  10. We will then be in touch to arrange additional services such as Airport Transfers, Lift Passes, Equipment Rental and Lessons (see Alpinium’s Services in Resort below).

What’s Included

Each accommodation offer will be slightly different so it's important to check thoroughly what's included prior to booking. 

*Tourist Tax (Taxe de Sejour) will ALWAYS be payable on departure in resort to your accommodation provider.

Deposits

Deposits are 20% of the full amount per person however you can also choose to pay the full amount now if you prefer to get it out of the way!

Board Basis

Each accommodation offer will be slightly different so it's important to check thoroughly the board basis prior to booking. Hotels will offer a choice of board basis which may be:

  • Room only - this is a self-catered room or apartment and you cater for yourselves. Some basic supplies may be available in your accommodation such as salt and pepper, however we recommend stopping at a supermarket in the valley and doing a full shop for the week before driving up to your resort. Supermarkets in resorts are generally much more expensive. The hotel or residence may have a restaurant on site you can take advantage of, in fact you can eat out as much as you like!
  • Bed and Breakfast (often self-service buffet style)
  • Half Board (breakfast and dinner)
  • Full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
  • Fully inclusive (breakfast, lunch and dinner) with unlimited drinks (normally non-premium spirits, beer and wine) or a drinks allowance. 

Refundable/Non-Refundable

Each hotel or self-catered accommodation and each booking is subject to a specific CANCELLATION and REFUND policy determined by the hotel or accommodation provider. It is VERY important that you click on the button in the top right hand corner of the accommodation description which will say Refundable or Non-Refundable and/or if you have already licked See Details, click View more rate information on the right hand side of the accommodation description (above the button Book Your Room) so you are fully aware of what the specific policy is. The commentary in these boxes is the contract you agree to when you confirm a booking.

Refundable means that if you need to cancel and it is before a certain time window prior to arrival, no cancellation fee will be charged and you will get a full refund. However if you need to cancel past that time window, a cancellation fee will be charged.

Non-Refundable means should you need to cancel your booking at any time, no refund will be given.

Top tips

  • Once you’ve been looking at properties, rather than using your browser < show the previous page, always use the Back button top right otherwise you will end up back at the beginning and loose the search results you were looking at.
  • If you’ve done a previous search and are looking for a specific hotel but can’t find it again, it’s very likely it will be sold out for your dates.
  • Occasionally the location as described is incorrect (we are working hard to eradicate these errors). Please check the map and description to ensure you are happy with the location before booking. If it’s still not clear, please send us a quick email and we will confirm where the property is located.
