Our chalets have a minimum stay of 7 nights with a Saturday or Sunday changeover depending upon chalet. Last minute short stays may be accommodated, please get in touch if you are looking for a short stay holiday.
Our chalet prices include airport transfers in France, 7 nights chalet accommodation, breakfast, afternoon tea, 3 course evening meal five days of the week, a traditional Savoyard night on one day and complimentary wine and soft drinks during dinner service throughout your stay. 8. If You Cancel Your Booking Before Departure
If you or any other member of your party decides to cancel your confirmed booking you must notify us in writing. Your notice of cancellation will only take effect when it is received in writing by us at our offices and will be effective from the date on which we receive it.
Should one or more member of a party cancel, it may increase the per person price of those still on the booking and you will be liable to pay this increase.
Since we incur costs in cancelling your arrangements, you will have to pay the cancellation charges as follows:

Where possible, we will deduct the cancellation charge(s) from any monies you have already paid to us.

Yes! We adapt our standard menu to accommodate vegetarians, vegans and those on restricted diets and do our best to ensure that everyone has a fantastic meal every night. Just let us know of your requirements in advance and we’ll plan our food shop and adapt the menu accordingly.

We provide complimentary quality bottled wine and soft drinks (cordials, coke and tonic water) during meal times. We also provide 2 small free barrels of beer (1 barrel in our smaller chalets) for the week. It is possible to purchase more beer, just let your chalet hosts know as soon as possible and they will arrange this for you.
The days vary for each chalet between Tuesday and Thursday. We will let you know which day is which in your chalet and offer to book a restaurant for you. Under French working regulations our hosts have two days off per week and rightly so, they work hard! One of their days off is covered by an additional member of staff so you will still be catered for, however there will be no housekeeping on this day. On their other day off your will have a self-service breakfast and be expected to enjoy the local restaurants in the evening.
Yes! We advise booking in advance especially during school holidays. We will do this for you and will send a list of recommendations shortly before you arrive. Just let us know where you’d like to go and we'll get it booked in for you.
Yes! We will always highlight Birthdays to the hosts so they can prepare a fabulous birthday cake for you or let us know your favourite and our hosts will make sure a nicely decorated scrumptious cake is a surprise for your loved one on their special day.
We love to provide a good balance between healthy and indulgent and have been perfecting the chalet menu for over 15 years. We make almost all our dishes from scratch and we ensure all dietary needs are accommodated for.

With the menu designed by our Operations Manger Laura, who is a trained chef, has over 30 years experience in the hospitality industry and has been vegan for 4 years, we offer breakfast options, afternoon tea (yes, vegan cakes!) and a delicious evening meal on 6 nights (see menu examples below). We even have vegan wine or beer to top off a scrumptious meal in the evening.

Yes! On request, we can provide travel cots, high chairs and stair gates. It's important to note not all chalets are built with stair gates in mind and thus it can be difficult for us to guarantee we can fit them. Please ask us in advance and we will make sure you have what you need when you arrive. Baby car seats will be provided for infants up to age 2 and booster seats will be provided for children from age 3 to 7. We can also offer help and advice in organising child care and ski schools.
Our standard check in time is 16:00 and check out is 10:00. If you need to drop baggage off or have a specific requirement, then please discuss it with us during the booking process.
Please note: Our chalets are accessible from 16.00 on arrival day, however our hosts are on their break from 13.30 and until 17.30. If you arrive between those hours with our transfers, the driver will show you around the chalet briefly. Help yourselves to tea or coffee and the hosts will be looking forward to seeing you at 17.30 or at 18.45 latest for dinner if you choose to have a wander around town. If you arrive after 20.00, whether planned or you are delayed, our Chalet Hosts will not be available for a full dinner service as they finish work strictly at 21.30 latest. They will prepare and serve what they can however they will leave the remainder of the meal ready for you to reheat/eat. If you arrive after 21.30, your driver will show you to your rooms. The hosts will have left a wonderfully prepared meal for you, ready to reheat and they will see you at breakfast the following morning from 08.00.

In La Rosiere and Montchavin, Alpinium are proud to offer our own private ski equipment hire facility with British qualified ski-techs ensuring your skis and boots are delivered and fitted in the comfort of your chalet shortly after arrival or the following morning so you can relax and have another cup of tea instead of rushing out of the door and standing in a queue for your equipment. We have a wide choice of skis and boots available and our ski techs will be on hand to advise you according to your skiing ability. It is essential to hire helmets for children (and obligatory for children under 18 skiing from La Rosiere to Italy).
In Reberty we work closely with All4Snow located very close to our chalets and have arranged a fantastic in-chalet delivery service for you with a superb 30% discount on their normal prices. We will send you a link to book your ski hire with them in advance. It’s self-explanatory and easy to navigate their booking site and we send a guide to help.
We have great relationships with many ski schools across the Alps and will send you links to their online booking systems. From beginner group lessons to private ski touring sessions, the ski and snowboard schools in our resorts offer first class tuition to suit all needs. We advise organising lessons well in advance, particularly if you are coming during school holidays as they do tend to get booked up.
Yes, by prior arrangement and only when booking sole use of a chalet we accept a maximum of 2 dogs. We ask that they are not left unattended during staff working hours (07.30-10.30 & 17.30-21.30 except one day a week where there is no staff in the chalet) or for long periods of time. We assume any dogs brought to stay can be trusted to remain calm, quiet when left alone and do not disturb other guests or the hosts. We ask that a blanket is placed on any furniture or beds to protect the materials and reduce the spread of fur and hair. There is a €200 cleaning fee applicable. Owners accept full responsibility for any personal injury or property damage caused.
Covered parking is available on a first come first served basis to be booked in advance (max height 1.8m) - please let us know by email you would like to reserve parking. There is also street parking on the main roads surrounding the villages.
If you have enjoyed the service provided by your chalet hosts most of our guests choose to tip their chalet hosts. The recommended amount is 10€ per guest per chalet host however this is left to your discretion entirely.

Yes! We normally have good wifi in all chalets which is provided free of charge, however occasionally service is interrupted in the Alps as the infrastructure is still catching up. Should everyone in the chalet connect multiple devices at the same time, you may find the speed slows and this is out of our control. If a storm is heading your way whilst staying one of our chalets, we ask that you disconnect all devices until the storm has passed. Not all rooms will have access.
Yes! We want you to have peace of mind that your kids are in safe hands while you’re on the slopes. We can put you in touch with a wide choice of dependable kid’s clubs, crèches and private nannying services so you can work out a childcare programme that works for you.
Yes if arriving by train, car or private transfer! Early arrivals for an extra day's skiing can be accommodated, please ask for further details (conditions apply and an additional charge may be applicable). Late departures for an extra day's skiing can also be accommodated, please ask for further details (conditions apply and an additional charge may be applicable). For early arrivals and late departures we’ll do our best to provide a changing area wherever possible and store your bags while you ski. It's important to note the chalets are being thoroughly cleaned during the day and cannot be accessed until 16.00 thus if you arrive early, you are expected to ski. We can arrange for your skis to be fitted on the morning you arrive at the chalet. Please let us know in advance if you plan to arrive early or depart late.
Please upload all of your flight details and requirements onto your reservation on our Booking Portal. Your Group Leader will have login details. We recommend that you do this as soon as possible. It is simple to do but should you need any assistance at all please do get in touch.
Clear instructions will be sent to the Group Leader 24-48 hours before you travel. When you arrive at the airport you will be met by your driver in the arrivals area or just outside the airport terminal. They will be holding a board with your name on it (or your group leader’s name if you are a large group). We will inform you via your group leader of the location, meeting point and time via Whatsapp or email before arrival.
You will have a journey of approximately 2.5 to 3 hours from Geneva, Chambery or Grenoble airport with one comfort stop. This will of course be subject to traffic and weather conditions. If you would like to to avoid travelling with other guests you can opt for a chargeable private transfer service. Please ask for more details.
Yes! Many of our guests drive from the UK (around 9 hours from Calais) or hire a car at Geneva airport (about 2.5 hours to the chalets). You will need snow chains and/or winter snow tyres.
Yes! It is a legal requirement to carry snow chains and/or have winter snow tyres on your car in the Alps. You may be refused up the mountain if stopped by random checks. If you are hiring a car remember to request one with winter tyres if possible and make sure chains are included.
Yes! Child car seats are provided in accordance with all safety requirements in France. Baby car seats will be provided for infants up to age 2 and booster seats will be provided for children from age 3 to 7.

Booking equipment is easy to do during the booking process. Once you've selected your choice of accommodation, you will be able to add Extras such as lift passes, equipment, lessons and airport transfers. We maintain close relationships with equipment shops in each resort ensuring you are provided with the best high quality equipment and even better prices. Equipment is serviced regularly if you experience any issues, you can pop back into the shop and they will adjust your equipment until you're comfortable. Should you have any issues during your stay that are not remedied by a visit to the shop, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will help solve any problems.
Booking lift passes is easy to do during the booking process. Once you've selected your choice of accommodation, you will be able to add Extras such as lift passes, equipment, lessons and airport transfers. We will issue an e-voucher or QR code a couple of days before you arrive (but no earlier) which you'll need to present upon arrival in resort at a lift pass sales office or automated distribution machine to recuperate your lift passes. We will let you know where your closest office/machine is. You pay the same price as in resort and any available offers available at the time of your holiday or discounts available for your particular group dynamic will be applied. Order your lift passes with us at no extra cost - less stress when you arrive! In most resorts lift passes for children under the age of 5 are free, however you still need to order a physical card. Seniors have reduced prices. If you are unable to find the lift pass you require or unsure of which lift pass to buy, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will help solve any problems.
Booking ski lessons is easy to do during the booking process. Once you've selected your choice of accommodation, you will be able to add Extras such as lift passes, equipment, lessons and airport transfers. Your booking is made direct with our partner, esf, the French ski school. We recommend booking lessons for anyone who has never skied before, lower intermediates and anyone of needs a refresher. Group lessons are provided 6 days a week and work out cheaper per hour however Private Lessons offer one-to-one or small group instruction which inevitably provide greater potential for learning.
We have close links with all the schools, they have an easy to navigate booking system, English speaking instructors and a great choice of group or private lessons. They also offer childcare for younger ones, which can include lunch if you are skiing all day. For any expert skiers, they offer guided off-piste lessons or you could give a new discipline a try such as snowboarding if you are a skier, or telemarking, touring, mono-ski or sqwal. If you are unable to find the lessons you require or unsure of which lessons are right for you, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will help solve any problems.
Absolutely! You can arrive and depart anytime you like, however you will not normally be able to check in before late afternoon/early evening and you will have a check out time to adhere to. If booking an hotel, they may have a luggage room where you can leave your luggage until you are back to check in/check out. It may be more difficult with self-catered accommodation since it's unlikely they can provide anywhere to leave your luggage or get changed.
